KEY INFORMATION

The Influencer Marketing Show NYC will be taking place from 3-4 June at New World Stages, New York City.

SHOW HOURS

Day 1 (Monday 3rd):
  • Show floor opens at 1pm
  • Sessions run until 5pm
  • Networking and Happy Hour Drinks from 5pm until 6pm
  • Official Party at the PHD Rooftop Lounge from 8pm until 11pm
Day 2 (Tuesday 4th):
  • Show floor opens at 8.30am
  • First sessions at 9.50am
  • Lunch networking from 12.10pm – 1.40pm
  • The last session finishes at 5pm
  • Networking and Happy Hour Drinks from 5pm until 6pm

REGISTERING FOR IMS

As a speaker at IMS you are entitled to one complimentary conference pass. Please register your complimentary standard pass by following this link, selecting the relevant registrant type and you will then be prompted to enter your discount code on the final page of the registration form, which will change the amount due to $0.00.

BRING A FRIEND/COLLEAGUE

We also offer a 15% discount on a ticket for a friend or colleague – this code is available on request.

ON THE DAY

When you arrive, please make your way to registration which will be located at the bottom of the stairs as you enter the venue. From there, you can grab your lanyard and head straight into the conference.

Please be waiting in the speaker room 30 minutes before the start of your session. You will be met there by the conference team, briefed, and escorted to your stage. Your onsite contacts are Mollie Leach: +44 (0) 7876 340036, and Kate McGregor: +44 (0) 7814 723462.

SESSION FORMAT

The session is 50 minutes in total, and we will have a Q&A portion facilitated by sli.do and the session chair of the day, which allows us to moderate the questions when they come in.

FINAL PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS - (IF USING SLIDES)

**All presentation slides to be submitted 17th May**

Each session lasts for 50 minutes including Q&A. All presentations must be submitted by Friday 17th May, so they can be assessed by the conference team prior to the event and loaded onto the conference computer in advance of the event. We also recommend bringing a backup on USB. Presentations can be submitted via email, or WeTransfer as a reliable alternative up to 2GB.

Presentation format
We require all presentations to be designed in 16:9 (widescreen) format. We can accept Microsoft PowerPoint or Apple Keynote. If you want to design your presentation in Google Slides, you can export your presentation in PowerPoint format by choosing ‘File-Download As-Microsoft PowerPoint’.
*Please ensure all fonts utilised in your presentation are sent alongside your presentation in a zip file*

Video/audio
Videos and audio used in the presentation MUST be embedded into the slides as there is no internet connection available at the podium. ‘Presenter View’ CANNOT be used for presentation notes – these must be bought on a separate device (or even note cards!).

Equipment
We strongly advise that you use the equipment provided by the conference to minimize the number of technical difficulties during your presentation. However, if you would like to use your own laptop/MacBook, please let your conference producer know in advance of the event so we can arrange a convenient time to test – note testing can only be done before the conference begins or during scheduled breaks. Please bring any adapters required for using a MacBook with you.

AV EQUIPMENT

All session rooms will include the following AV equipment as standard:
  • Projector Screen
  • PA System
  • PC Laptop
  • Lectern
  • Handheld Microphone or Lapel Microphone
  • Presentation Mouse/ Laser Clicker
On-site AV support will be available at all times throughout the conference.

SOCIALS

We will be using LinkedIn, Twitter & Facebook frequently before, during and after the event. We encourage you to follow us on LinkedIn. Please get involved using the #IMSUSA24 and post about your involvement using the above handles as we wish to generate as much pre, during and post-engagement as possible on these platforms.

SPEAKER ROOM

A speaker room is located in ‘Stage 4’, which will be signposted (at the southside end of the show floor) and will be available for use during the conference. This room will have complimentary refreshments, Wi-Fi and an area to meet, relax, and prepare.

NETWORKING APP

All speakers will receive an email with login instructions for the Networking App which you can be used to create your own schedule at the show. You can view the agenda, select the talks you wish to attend, share announcements, start conversations and book meetings with each other in advance and during the conference.

DRINKS & AFTER PARTY

The Official IMS Party will be taking place from 8pm – 11pm on June 3rd at PHD Rooftop Lounge, at Dream Downtown, 355 West 16th Street, New York. We have left enough time for people to enjoy a networking/client dinner, before they join us at the party for complimentary drinks and more networking!
